Finding Economical Travel to Barcelona
Now I am on the internet as I have decided to look for an economical train to Spain, as I have always wanted to travel by train throughout Europe. I was surprised to find the prices to be in the area of four and five hundred dollars or more. These train prices were too pricey for me at this time with the trip being only a little over an hour. Then I began to take notice of a continuous distracting bus message coming up from time to time that I had been ignoring while searching on the web at this time. Finally, I decided to go further into this distracting bus messaging, and to my surprise, I learned that there are actual buses that drive throughout Europe, very much like taking the Greyhound bus in the United States, except I believe that you do need your passport and visa in some circumstances. Still in disbelief I wanted confirmation on this treasure of a find! After trying in vain to call and get more detailed information in relation to buses and schedules, I decided to just leave backpackers in the early-morning and physically go to the direction of the Victoria bus station to see if buses do indeed go throughout Europe.
The Tube to Victoria Station
I took the tube which placed me at “Victoria Station” in no time. I was surprised to see such a humongous bus station with so many buses with their engines running and emitting huge white clouds of fumes and noise. Then I found myself surprised to learn that this huge bus station exist here in London does offer travelers economical access to visiting destinations quite similar to the greyhound bus station in the US. I thought; Fantastic! The prices were, great! The bus from London to Spain would cost roughly 60 dollars, with a stop first in Paris. Could it get any better!
But my only question;
Isn’t there a patch of water ahead?
